Experience & Activities

Professor Richard Auta is a Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Biochemistry, Kaduna State University, Kaduna. He has a Ph.D. Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the University of Wolverhampton, UK, and M.Sc. and B.Sc. Biochemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a member of professional societies, including the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), the Biotechnology Society of Nigeria (BSN), the Biochemical Society (UK), and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), USA. He has received scholarship/grant awards, including the PTDF PhD Scholarship, Institution-Based Research Grant, TETFund, and NRF Grants. He has over 37 articles published in local and international journals.
