Professor Usunobun Usunomena is a Professor of Toxicology and Environmental Biochemistry at the Department of Biochemistry, Edo State University, Iyamho, Edo State, Nigeria. He has a BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He has served as Acting Vice-Chancellor, Michael and Cecilia Ibru University, Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli, Delta State. He is a member of professional societies, including the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), and the Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB). He has received scholarship/grant awards, including the 2024 and 2020 TETFUND IBR Grant to fund Research and the Benson Idahosa University research seed grant. He has over 68 articles published in local and international journals.
